Twilight Ridge Above Clouds in Yunnan Foothills

Cool blue light fills the valley below a sharp mountain ridge that cuts across the darkening sky. The stone spine stands well above a sea of layered clouds, revealing patches of late spring greenery clinging to the steep slopes beside the grey rock. Dense cloud banks fill the valleys between ridges, forming distinct horizontal bands that fade into the distance. The foreground rock edges frame the soft, rolling forms of the distant clouds. A thin strip of violet light traces the horizon line where the last daylight meets the deepening blue of the valley floor.
