Indigo Twilight Over Alpine Lake and Foothills

Cool blue light blankets a black lake nestled within a high-altitude valley near Leh. The water remains still, reflecting the heavy indigo clouds that press low against the sky. Beside the shore, stiff reeds and sparse grasses stand motionless, their tips catching the last faint glow of the dying day. From a ridge above, layered foothills stretch outward in dark, stepped bands of rock and soil. The terrain appears rugged and ancient, with earth tones muted by the twilight. One patch of pale green grass near the water's edge marks the early spring season. The shadow of a distant peak falls across the lake surface, defining the boundary between land and water.
