Misty Dawn Over Tibetan Salt Basin Ridge

Pale blue light diffuses through heavy overcast skies, softening the distant mountain peaks into hazy silhouettes. Below, a vast salt basin stretches across the frame, its surface a mosaic of cracked white earth and shallow pools reflecting the muted sky. The low angle view emphasizes the rugged ridge in the foreground, where coarse, dry grasses and scattered stones anchor the composition. The brief arctic summer leaves the ground bare and dusty, with no greenery to break the monochrome palette of whites, grays, and steely blues. Layers of foothills recede into the mist, showing immense depth. at the edge is the sharp, jagged edge of a salt crust catching the faint light at the very bottom of the frame.
