Transmission Towers Over Snow Fences in Winter Mist

Steel lattice structures rise from the mist, their gray legs marching over white snow fences that line the frozen canal lock chamber. Thick fog softens the edges of the Commercial Drive surroundings, leaving only the rigid geometry of the infrastructure visible. Dappled light falls through bare winter branches, casting shifting patches of pale gray and white across the snow-covered ground. The scene presents a stark civic austerity, with the massive towers dominating the open prairie-like expanse near the water. Snow piles against the metal supports, while the distant canal walls emerge from the haze. A thin shadow stretches across the frost, marking the angle of the late morning sun breaking through the dense clouds.
