Surreal Dress Form Chalk Hip Magenta Sky

Bright midmorning light floods a narrow backstage corridor in Alor Setar, where a white dress form stands centered against damp concrete walls. Chalk lines mark an exaggerated hip curve, stark against the fabric's smooth surface. Reflected light from nearby monsoon pools creates shimmering highlights on the form's rounded shoulders. Low-hanging gray clouds press down outside the open corridor end, but the sky above has shifted to an impossible, solid emerald green. Water droplets rest on the metal hanger rail, while the chalk dust settles on the floor in fine, white tracks. The impossible green horizon meets the wet ground at a sharp, unnatural line, at the base of the surreal shift in the humid air.
