Sequined Gown on Harbor Floorboards in Winter

Tiny silver sequins cluster on black fabric, pooling across rough, paint-splattered studio floorboards that meet a weathered harbor wall. The last blue light of evening washes the scene, turning the damp concrete and wet wood a deep indigo. String lights hang low, casting small, warm reflections on the wet floor and the shimmering dress. Humid air hangs heavy after rain, visible as a faint mist clinging to the cold stone. The gown lies crumpled, its heavy folds resting against the gritty texture of the paint-stained boards. One sequin catches the string light, glowing like a tiny star against the dark, wet wood grain.
