Stone Sheep Pen on Monsoon Highland Trail

Wet, moss-covered stones form the crumbling remains of a sheep pen along a muddy game trail. Rain-slicked earth rests on the base of the dry-stone walls, where green moss thrives in the humid air. The bright midmorning light diffuses through the soft, post-rain atmosphere, highlighting the rough texture of the weathered granite blocks. Beyond the immediate foreground, the highland slope rises in a blur of deep greens and browns, suggesting a landscape saturated with monsoon moisture. Water droplets rest on the uneven surfaces of the stones, catching the soft light. A small patch of vibrant fern pushes through a gap in the lower wall, anchoring the structure to the damp soil.
