Steel Drum Band on Caribbean Dock in Rain

Bright midmorning light falls through a soft, wet haze after rain falls on a wooden dock. Four musicians stand in a semi-circle, their hands moving rhythmically over polished steel drums that gleam with water droplets. The men wear loose linen shirts in faded blues and yellows, their skin glistening under the gray sky. Behind them, the calm ocean meets the weathered planks of the pier, while colorful fishing boats bob gently in the distance. Raindrops create small ripples on the metal surfaces and the wet wood beneath their bare feet. The wide view shows the communal energy as they play, with steam rising slightly from the warm metal against the cool, monsoon air. One reflection of a red sailboat shimmers on a puddle near the front edge of the dock.
