California Harbor Boats Dappled Light Drone View

Late spring sunlight falls through overhanging tree branches, casting shifting patches of bright yellow and deep shadow across the wooden hulls of fishing boats moored in a California harbor. The water ripples gently, reflecting the dramatic, textured clouds above while the dappled light dances on the wet decks. Thick ropes coil around wooden pilings, their fibers coarse against the smooth, varnished wood. Green leaves frame the upper edges of the view, creating a natural canopy that breaks the direct sunlight into a mosaic of light and dark. The boats sit low in the water, their hulls painted in faded blues and whites, showing signs of daily use. One rust stain runs down the side of the nearest boat, catching the light where the water has splashed against the metal cleat.
