Steel-blue ambient light washes over a rugged stone wall near Arua as a soft, light fog drifts through a narrow vertical gap. The rough, weathered texture of the stones contrasts with the fluid, formless movement of the mist. Early evening shadows stretch across the uneven masonry, deepening the crevices where the stone meets the earth. Sparse, dry grasses fringe the base of the wall, signaling the turn of seasons. The composition isolates the gap, showing the vast solitude of the open landscape beyond. A thin ribbon of gray mist catches the fading light at the edge of the opening.
