The locomotive, dark and heavy, emits a plume of white vapor that hangs low and dense against the frozen ground. Distant town lights glow in a soft orange band on the horizon, contrasting sharply with the cool blue tones of the evening. The rails gleam faintly under the fading light, reflecting the steam's moisture. Snow dusts the flat surface in patches, creating a rough texture beneath the wheels. The wide view emphasizes the isolation of the machine against the endless, flat terrain, with at the edge showing the sharp edge of the train's shadow stretching across the salt.
