Pale starlight illuminates a heavy snowplow traversing the vast, white expanse of salt flats beside a fogbound harbor mouth near Kohat. The vehicle casts long, sharp shadows that stretch across the textured, crystalline ground, showing the low angle of the shot. Heavy overcast skies hang low, diffusing the faint ground glow and softening the edges of the distant water.
