Steam rising from pretzel cart under flickering light

A metal pretzel cart stands beneath a flickering underpass light, its surface reflecting the harsh noon glare. Thick steam billows upward, dissipating instantly into the dry air. The ground around the cart is wet, creating a mirror for the overhead fixtures and the cart itself. Wind funnels loose trash and dry leaves along the curb, scattering them across the puddles. The light buzzes intermittently, casting shifting shadows on the steam and the cart's wheels. Water droplets rest on the metal edges, while the wet pavement stretches out, reflecting the gray sky and the urban surroundings. A crumpled paper wrapper rests near the cart's base, caught in the breeze.
