Rust stains streak the corrugated metal side of a shopping cart abandoned beneath a concrete overpass. Rain darkens the surrounding asphalt, reflecting the copper-toned light of early evening. Steam rises steadily from a nearby grating, mixing with the humid air of a Jeju summer afternoon. An orange kiosk stands nearby, its glass surfaces slick with moisture. The low angle emphasizes the heavy shadow cast by the bridge above, while the cart's wheels rest on wet pavement. A small puddle gathers near the front caster, mirroring the warm glow of the setting sun against the gray concrete.
