Stacked Glass Bottles Catching Monsoon Sunlight Lagos

Broad skylight floods a passageway in Oshodi, Lagos, striking a vertical stack of clear and amber glass bottles. From a direct overhead perspective, the cylindrical forms align into a rigid, graphic column against the pale, monsoon-dampened floor. Sunlight fractures through the curved surfaces, scattering sharp white highlights across the polished rims and creating a mosaic of refractions on the concrete below. The bottles, varying slightly in height, rest in a precise, interlocking arrangement that mimics the structure of a traditional Lagos market display. Reflections of the overhead opening dance on the wet glass, while the pale walls amplify the brightness, showing the geometric tension between the organic fluidity of the liquid inside and the rigid verticality of the stack.
