Vibrant strips of red, gold, and green Kente cloth drape over traditional wooden stools standing in rows within a spacious prayer hall. The late afternoon sun falls through high windows, casting the figures and sacred objects into deep silhouette against the bright exterior glow. City lights begin to twinkle in the distance beyond the open archways, signaling the transition into evening. The dry season air leaves the interior dust motes suspended in the beams of light. Rough-hewn wood textures contrast with the smooth, woven patterns of the fabric. Shadows stretch long across the concrete floor, showing the verticality of the ceremonial arrangement. at the edge is the sharp, jagged edge of a stool leg cutting through the fading light on the floor.
