Orange Sunset Reflections on Curved Glass Ondo
by Sage Bridges
Vibrant orange light from the setting sun washes over a curved glass facade, turning the surface into a distorted mirror of the city skyline. The glass bends the vertical lines of distant buildings into fluid, wavy shapes that ripple across the smooth, cool-toned panels. Below, a colonnade of thick stone pillars stands in deep shadow, their rough textures against the sleek, wet surface above. Humid air hangs heavy in the atmosphere, visible as a faint, soft haze that blurs the sharp edges of the reflected lights. The lower third of the frame anchors the composition with the dark, solid rhythm of the colonnade, while the upper two-thirds dissolve into the glowing, abstract geometry of the city's reflection. A sharp, horizontal seam of water droplets rests on the bottom edge of the glass, marking the boundary between the solid stone and the liquid light.
