Snow Squall Over Lake in Blue Evening Light

Steel-blue ambient light washes a frozen lake surface where a dense snow squall sweeps across the water. Low-hanging gray clouds press close to the ice, obscuring the distant horizon of the storm-bright plain near Stockholm. The thaw begins, revealing dark patches of open water and wet slush along the shoreline. Fine white flakes blur the texture of the ice, creating a hazy veil that softens the edges of the frozen expanse. A small wooden pier juts into the water, its weathered planks dark with moisture, standing solitary against the swirling white. The contrast between the cold blue tones of the sky and the muted browns of the land anchors the scene in early spring. at the edge shows a single wavelet breaking against the pier's post, catching the faint light.
