Sled Team on Arctic Ice Under Split Sky

Six huskies pull a wooden sled across a frozen glacial stream, their breath visible in the cold air. The scene divides sharply down the center. On the left, a heavy blanket of snow falls gently through the shadows of leafless trees, casting deep blue tones on the ice and the dogs' white fur. On the right, bright midmorning sun floods the same landscape, illuminating golden light on the snowdrifts and the dogs' coats. The contrast is absolute, with the snow particles catching the light only on the sunny side. The stream beneath reflects the dual sky, showing dark ice on one side and shimmering water on the other. One red sled runner catches the bright light at the edge of the frame.
