Silhouetted Crab Fisherman in Mombasa Twilight

Indigo water envelops a weathered crab fisherman whose silhouette stands stark against the fading surface glow. Salt crystals crust his beard, catching the dim light as suspended particles glitter throughout the water column. The volcanic drop-off looms darkly beside him, its rough texture merging with the cool season shadows. His face remains obscured in deep shadow, showing the harsh conditions of his trade. Tiny bubbles drift upward, catching the last rays of sun before disappearing into the abyss. The water's surface creates a soft, diffused ceiling of pale blue light that barely penetrates the depths. One flake of dried salt rests on his shoulder, marking the boundary between the ocean and his skin.
