Dalmatian Crab Fisherman Backlit by Sunrise

Deep shadow envelops the back of a crab fisherman standing in a Dalmatian seagrass meadow. Salt crystals crust the thick beard along the neck, catching faint rim light from the rising sun. The water around the legs is thick with plankton haze, softening the distant meadow blades into a hazy blue field. Monsoon rain leaves the fabric of the jacket heavy and dark. Beams of pale morning light pierce the water column, illuminating floating particles against the deep teal of the submerged grass. The fisherman's silhouette remains solid and still against the glowing underwater vegetation. A thin line of white foam rests on the edge of a drifting seagrass leaf near the ankle.
