Sandstone Canyon Bridge Dawn Floodplain

Low morning light strikes the horizon haze, illuminating a massive sandstone natural bridge spanning a deep canyon. The rock face displays deep vertical grooves carved by wind, shifting from warm ochre near the base to pale beige at the summit. Below, the floodplain stretches flat and wet, its surface glistening with a thin layer of recent rain. Sparse green shoots of early spring vegetation dot the damp earth between patches of dry, pale sand. A perfectly clear sky arches overhead, devoid of clouds, enhancing the stark contrast between the rugged stone and the smooth, reflective ground. The bridge casts a long, sharp shadow that falls across the canyon floor, meeting the wet soil at the edge of the frame.
