Snow crystals sparkle like scattered glass beneath the predator's path, catching the harsh light. The ground is a vast, undulating expanse of frozen drifts, textured by wind and trampled tracks. The fox's form cuts a jagged line against the overexposed sky, showing the stillness of the hunt before the strike lands. One tuft of fur catches the light at the tip of the tail.
