A weathered wooden stool sits on a dusty concrete veranda in Nairobi, its surface scratched by years of use under the flat overcast sky. The rattan weave shows signs of wear, with loose fibers catching the diffuse light that falls through the surrounding eucalyptus trees. Beside it, a faded blue and white porcelain bowl rests on the ground, containing a few dried leaves and small stones collected from the garden. The muted tones of the clay and wood blend seamlessly with the gray pavement, creating a quiet domestic stillness in the urban landscape.
