A weathered wooden stool sits on the cracked concrete floor of a dimly lit Havana kitchen, its legs splayed slightly from years of use. Sunlight streams through a high, barred window, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air and casting sharp shadows across the worn floorboards. To the right, a chipped enamel sink holds a few dirty plates, while a faded floral curtain hangs limp against the white, peeling wall.
