Weathered Wooden Stool in Rio De Janeiro

A weathered wooden stool sits on a rough concrete ledge in a Rio de Janeiro courtyard, lit by the sharp, bright light of late morning. The slats of the seat show deep grain and small chips where years of use have worn away the varnish. Behind the stool, a potted hibiscus plant with vibrant red flowers adds a splash of color against the textured white stucco wall. Sunlight casts a distinct, dark shadow of the stool legs onto the uneven ground below.
