Rajasthani Haveli Facade in Bosnia Plaza
Vibrant ochre and indigo geometric patterns stretch across the stucco surface of a Rajasthani haveli, standing starkly against the grey stone of a formal civic plaza in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Early summer sun casts sharp, defined shadows that carve depth into the intricate floral motifs and jharokha balconies. Dramatic, heavy cumulus clouds gather above, their dark undersides against the bright, dry mountain light hitting the building's upper walls. The plaza's polished marble floor acts as a perfect mirror, duplicating the colorful facade and the turbulent sky in a symmetrical reflection that bisects the view. Every painted line is crisp, and the texture of the aged plaster is visible where the light grazes the surface at an angle. The reflection in the wet-looking stone creates a seamless vertical symmetry between the architecture and its inverted image.
