Rajasthani Haveli Mirror Facade Evening Glow

by Jordyn Terry

Warm city lights ignite the horizon, casting a soft amber glow against the deepening twilight sky. The colonnaded facade of a traditional Rajasthani haveli stands in the foreground, its intricate mirror-work reflecting the distant town illumination. Wet surfaces glisten with residual moisture from recent rain, creating sharp, fragmented reflections on the polished tiles. Late autumn air hangs heavy, visible in the slight haze softening the far background. The geometric patterns of the mirrors form a shimmering grid along the stone arches, against the dark, textured masonry. Each mirror tile shows a pinpoint of light, turning the wall into a mosaic of glowing shards. at the edge is the reflection of a single streetlamp caught in the lower right corner of the central arch.
