Quantum Optics Setup Mirrored on Vibration Table

Sharp late afternoon light cuts across a precision optical bench situated on a heavy vibration isolation table. Mirrored surfaces of the quantum optics apparatus reflect the dramatic early spring sky filled with dark, rolling clouds. Silver mirrors, brass mounts, and blackened optical tubes align in a rigid geometric pattern. The equipment rests on a textured metal platform that dampens external movement. Dust motes hang suspended in the bright beams, revealing the path of the laser through the air. Shadows fall sharply to the right, showing the depth of the optical mounts. The background hints at the industrial outskirts of Chongqing, with faint outlines of concrete structures visible through the haze. One reflection of a cloud edge glints off the polished lens housing at the far right.
