Late spring window light filters in from the side, creating a cool contrast against the warm artificial illumination. The brass shows subtle wear and fine scratches, while the oak surface reflects the ambient light with a polished sheen. In the background, the soft blur of city lights begins to glow through a window, suggesting the transition from dusk to evening within the quiet research space.
