Deep amber firelight washes over a doorway framed by heavy drapes in a minimalist showroom in Pointe-Noire. Rain-slicked fabric layers of streetwear stack against the frame, their textures sharply defined by the low light. Wet droplets rest on the surface of dark denim and glossy nylon, catching the warm glow. Behind the subject, garment racks stand in orderly rows, their metal frames reflecting the flickering light. Large mirrors along the wall multiply the shadows and the draped curtains, showing depth. The cool season air has left the fabrics stiff and crisp. One fold of wet fabric rests against the doorframe, its texture fully readable under the firelight.
