Magnified Bark Fissure with Pollen Dust in Seed Pod

Rough, dark bark dominates the center, split by a deep fissure that reveals layered textures beneath the surface. Fine grains of pale yellow pollen dust settle along the crack's edge and rest on the jagged ridges of the wood. The split seed pod frames the subject, its interior walls curving inward to create a natural enclosure. Soft, directional light from the upper left traces the microscopic topography, highlighting every ridge and grain against a void-like black background. The first light of dawn casts a cool tone over the organic matter, while subtle shadows gather in the deepest recesses of the fissure. A tiny cluster of pollen grains sits perfectly balanced on a sharp point of wood, catching the illumination.
