A rhythmic beam of light sweeps across the dark foreground, illuminating the rough, leafless bark of winter oak branches against a pitch-black Sichuan sky. The constellation Orion hangs clearly above, its three bright belt stars and sword cluster visible in the perfectly clear atmosphere. Below the tree line, a wet surface mirrors the celestial arrangement and the dark silhouette of the limbs, creating a symmetrical composition where the horizon divides the sky from its watery twin. The light source casts sharp highlights on the textured bark while leaving the surrounding forest in deep shadow. The glowing star Alnitak sits at the edge of the reflection, against the void of the night.
