Orion Over Anchorage Alpine Forest Twilight

Indigo twilight saturates the sky above a dense conifer forest near Anchorage, where the constellation Orion stands prominent against the deep blue expanse. Steel-blue ambient light washes the snow-laden branches of spruce and fir trees, casting soft shadows across the forest floor. Gentle snowflakes drift through the air, catching the faint glow of the stars and adding a textured veil over the dark landscape. The forest floor appears as a smooth, white blanket, interrupted only by the jagged silhouettes of tree trunks. The horizon line sits low, allowing the vastness of the night sky to dominate the upper two-thirds of the view. One branch in the foreground holds a dusting of fresh snow, its white surface against the deep indigo of the twilight sky.
