Cold silver moonlight spills across the dark waters of a Liberian harbor mouth, where thick monsoon fog rests on the low horizon. One cable car hangs suspended on taut steel wires, its metal frame reflecting the pale glow against a backdrop of dramatic, heavy clouds. The harbor below is obscured by mist, revealing only the faint outline of a distant shoreline and the dark, glassy surface of the water. Leading lines formed by the cables guide the gaze toward the vehicle, which sits motionless in the cool night air. Raindrops streak the dark surface of the gondola, catching the moonlight as tiny, sharp highlights against the matte metal.
