Bright midday light illuminates a steel cable car suspended against a backdrop of early winter fog clinging to the Thessaloniki harbor mouth. The cabin, painted in warm ochre and white, hangs from taut cables that cut diagonally across the frame, creating strong leading lines toward the gray water below. Mist softens the distant shoreline, blurring the edges of the port cranes and low-rise buildings while leaving the foreground sharp. The metal structure of the car reflects the pale sun, casting subtle shadows on its glass panels. Small details like the rusted bolts on the support tower and the texture of the frozen ground in the lower right corner anchor the scene in reality. One rivet gleams on the cabin's corner.
