Mango Tree on Black Forest Cliff at Night

Yellow mangoes cluster heavily on branches extending over a jagged cliff edge where salt spray has etched white streaks into the dark rock. Rain falls steadily, turning the fruit surfaces into slick, reflective spheres that catch the faint rim light defining their curves against the deep shadow. The dry season leaves the surrounding foliage sparse, revealing the rough, weathered texture of the tree bark. Layers of darkness recede behind the illuminated fruit, showing vast depth. A wet stone ledge in the foreground reflects the dim glow, at the base of the scene in the cold, damp reality of the night.
