Silvery Night Palm Trees Cliff Bali

A row of weathered palm trees stands rigid against the deepest night sky along a salt-sprayed cliff edge in Bali. Silvery winter light washes over the rough, fibrous trunks and fronds that show signs of constant wind and spray. The ground beneath is dark, uneven stone, against the pale, almost metallic sheen on the leaves. Negative space surrounds the row, showing the isolation of the vegetation on this high precipice. The trees lean slightly inward, their forms softened by the cool, clear air. At the base of the nearest trunk, a patch of dry, brittle grass rests on the rock, marking the boundary between the cliff and the sea below.
