Luthier in Late Spring Stall Near Douma

Soft, diffused light from a clear late-afternoon sky illuminates a narrow stall near Douma. A luthier stands beside a bucket filled with slender stems, viewed from behind. The gentle breeze, likely lingering from recent rain, lifts faint dust particles and ripples the air around the figure. Deep lines etch the back of the luthier's neck and shoulders, mapping years of focused work. The stall walls are rough-hewn wood, textured with age and weathering. Late spring greenery peeks through the open front, casting soft shadows across the floor. The light catches the fine grain of the wood and the smooth curve of the bucket, at the base of the moment in quiet, anticipatory stillness.
