Enamel Painter Details Miniature in Douma

Soft, diffused light falls through the humid air of Douma, illuminating a workspace where an artist focuses on a tiny object. From behind, the subject's posture is hunched in concentration, hands steady as a fine brush applies glossy enamel to a miniature figure. The dry season air hangs heavy with moisture from a recent rain, condensing slightly on the cool surface of the table. Vibrant reds and golds from the paint contrast against the matte texture of the unpainted model. Dust motes float in the shafts of afternoon light, settling on the edges of scattered tools and the rough fabric of the artist's sleeve. The final stroke leaves a wet, reflective sheen on the miniature's shoulder.
