Sea spray hangs suspended in the air, catching the fleeting illumination and creating a misty veil over the waves. The light sweeps across the water, momentarily revealing the churning motion before plunging the scene back into darkness. A bright reflection of the lichen glows on a wet rock face at the water's edge, anchoring the view in the cold, damp reality of the late night coast.
