Lighthouse Beam Sweeping Dominican Coastline Night

Rain-slicked basalt rocks line the wave-cut shore, their dark surfaces reflecting the intense white sweep of a lighthouse beam cutting through deep night. Heavy storm clouds hang low, illuminated from below by the rotating light, creating a dramatic ceiling of gray and silver. The water churns against the jagged edge, white foam flashing briefly under the spotlight before fading back into shadow. From above, the coastline curves into the darkness, the beam acting as a single moving ribbon of light that traces the wet stone and the crashing surf. The contrast between the blinding arc and the surrounding blackness defines the rugged texture of the volcanic rock.
