Meteor Trail Over Lantern-Dotted Bahawalpur Harbor
A pale, horizontal streak of light cuts across the deep indigo sky, marking a meteor grazing the atmosphere above the pre-dawn darkness. Below, the harbor near Bahawalpur rests in heavy shadow, its water surface dark and still. Strings of warm yellow lanterns hang from wooden posts and rooftops, casting small pools of amber light that reflect faintly on the wet ground. The air appears thick and humid, visible as a soft haze clinging to the lower lights and the distant shoreline. Early winter cold is suggested by the sharp, clear contrast between the glowing trail and the muted, cool tones of the harbor. The composition places the bright meteor line along the upper third, balancing the cluster of lanterns in the lower section. One droplet of water rests on the edge of a nearby wooden railing, catching the faint glow of the nearest lantern.
