Ice Fog Dawn Over Stockholm Thunderheads

Brilliant orange light from a low winter sun fractures through a dense layer of ice fog hovering over the Kungsholmen district. The sky features a stacked horizon of dark thunderheads, their bases obscured by the thick, white mist that blankets the city below. Cool blue shadows define the sharp edges of the buildings, against the warm glow touching the upper cloud layers. A diagonal line of steam rises from a streetlamp, cutting through the cold air and adding tension to the composition. The fog rests on the glass of nearby windows, blurring the interior lights into soft, golden orbs that offer a cozy counterpoint to the freezing exterior. The texture of the mist appears heavy and granular, settling on the dark rooftops.
