Golden Hour Aerial View of Thimphu Rooftops

Warming amber light spills across the undulating landscape where the city of Thimphu nestles below a high summit. From this altitude, the rooftops appear as a mosaic of muted reds, browns, and greys, their geometric patterns shrinking into a miniature tapestry beneath the vast sky. A traditional stone cairn stands prominently in the foreground, its rough, stacked rocks catching the low sun. Dramatic, layered clouds roll in from the horizon, wrapping the scene in soft shadows that shift across the valley floor. The turn of seasons is visible in the scattered patches of dry grass and the fading green of the tree line. Tiny figures move along the narrow streets, their scale dwarfed by the surrounding mountains and the immense, textured cloud ceiling.
