Fisherman at Golden Hour

Golden hour light slants through the high arched windows of a granite maritime terminal, casting long amber beams across a worn wooden counter where a local fisherman pauses his work. He holds a chipped white ceramic cup in one hand while his other hand rests near a pair of heavy-duty garden shears used for trimming kelp baskets, their steel blades catching the low sun. Behind him, a row of coat hooks holds damp wool scarves in faded navy and charcoal, their texture rough against the smooth, polished stone wall. The air is thick with the faint, soft steam clouding the lower edge of a nearby window, hinting at the cold Atlantic breeze outside.
