Falconer Releasing Hawk at Imphal Reed Bed Dawn

A heavy leather gauntlet dominates the foreground, its worn texture catching a sharp line of golden rim light against deep shadow. A hawk with mottled brown and grey plumage pushes forward, its talons gripping the leather while its wings catch the morning breeze. Tall reeds blur in the background, swaying violently under the wind's force near the edge of the Imphal wetland. The bird's eye is wide and focused, reflecting the dim, cool tones of the pre-dawn sky. Feathers ruffle and lift as the bird breaks free from the restraint, creating a dynamic tension between the stillness of the leather and the sudden motion of the wing. One feather detaches, drifting slowly past the dark silhouette of the reed stalks.
