Endless Night Construction Barrel Corridor Guinea in inside a taped-off excavation edge in Guinea

Endless Night Construction Barrel Corridor Guinea

by Meghan Guthrie

Deep shadow swallows the excavation edge in Guinea while a sharp rim light carves the orange and white stripes of stacked traffic barrels. The barrels form a rigid corridor that stretches unnaturally far beyond the physical building containing it, creating a visual paradox where the path extends into infinite darkness. Wet concrete reflects the faint glow, and rain-slicked surfaces show the turn of seasons with scattered debris. Heavy-duty tape marks the boundary, holding the surreal stretch of barrels in place against the storm-clearing night. The impossible length of the corridor vanishes into the black void, defying the structure's actual limits.
