Ecuador Salt Ponds Aerial View Dusk Glow
Pale geometric salt ponds stretch across the landscape, separated by narrow earthen causeways that form a rigid grid. A circular maar lake anchors the composition with its dark, still water contrasting against the white mineral crusts. Distant town lights flicker to life along the horizon, casting a soft amber haze that competes with the fading blue of early spring twilight. Heat shimmer distorts the air above the parched earth, creating a wavering veil over the causeways. A diagonal line of a drying channel cuts sharply across the frame, guiding toward the glowing city. at the edge is the sharp, white edge of a salt ridge against the darkening water.
