Mist hangs low over a wet flagstone path where a fox lies stretched in patient stillness. The animal's reddish-brown coat absorbs the diffused gray light of early spring dawn. Raindrops bead on the stone surface, creating small dark pools around the creature's paws. Sparse green shoots push through the damp earth along the game trail edge. The background fades into a soft haze of muted greens and browns, obscuring distant shrubs. The fox's head rests low, eyes fixed forward, muscles relaxed yet ready. Water droplets rest on the tips of nearby grass blades, reflecting the pale sky above.
